IT system upgrade

In order to improve our services and better meet your needs, we wish to inform you that we have scheduled a major upgrade to our IT systems from 17 May at 6:00 pm until Tuesday, 21 May included. As a result, the R-Net online banking service and the R-Payconiq application will be momentarily unavailable.

We apologise for this inconvenience and assure you that we will make every effort to ensure that this interruption is as short as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can’t I log into my online banking R-Net and the Raiffeisen Payconiq app?

Your online banking R-Net (and consequently all the functions offered) as well as the Raiffeisen Payconiq app will be unavailable from Friday, 17 May at 6:00 pm until Tuesday, 21 May included due to an upgrade of our IT system. This update aims to improve our services to better meet your needs.

Will I need to update my R-Net and Raiffeisen Payconiq app?

No, the migration of your accounts to the new IT system is fully automated.

Will my bank cards work during the IT system upgrade?

Yes, your bank cards will be operational with your usual usage limits. Please also note that in case of loss or theft of your card, Worldline remains available throughout this period to, among other things, block your card (tel: 49 10 10).

Even if the R-Payconiq app is unavailable, will a person using another bank’s Payconiq app still be able to transfer payments to me via Payconiq?

Yes, a person using another bank's Payconiq app will be able to initiate a transfer to your Raiffeisen account during this period. Your account will be credited starting from 22 May.

Will my standing orders and direct debits be processed between 17 May and 21 May included?

No, there will be no processing of standing orders or direct debits from Friday, 17 May at 6:00 pm until Tuesday, 21 May included. Standing orders falling within this period will be processed on the first working day following the upgrade, in this case, Wednesday, 22 May, 2024.

Will I be able to place stock market orders via R-Net between 17 May and 21 May included?

No, due to the unavailability of our online banking R-Net, no stock market orders can be placed via R-Net from Friday, 17 May at 6:00 pm until Tuesday, 21 May included. The stock orders you have previously placed and are still pending will be executed according to the usual procedure. However, please note that orders must be placed no later than Friday, 17 May at 5:00 pm. In case of emergency, our Investor Hotline (2450 3030) will be available starting Tuesday, 21 May.

Will all services be available and operational again from 22 May?

Our teams are doing their best to shorten this inconvenience as much as possible. If a particular service is unavailable from Wednesday 22 May, we advise you to consult this page or contact your advisor.

Will the Multiline online banking platform function normally from 17 May to 21 May included? What about transactions?

Yes, the Multiline platform remains accessible, transactions made between Friday, 17 May after 4:00 pm and Tuesday, 21 May included, will be processed starting from Wednesday, 22 May. We also want to inform you that no end-of-day account statement (neither MT940 nor CAMT) will be available in Multiline from 17/05 to 21/05. Your account balances and movements will only be updated starting from 22/05.

Will I need to complete any manual tasks after the IT system has been updated?

No, you will not be required to complete any manual tasks following the IT system upgrade.

I made a transfer from my Raiffeisen account dated 17 May. When will it be executed?

All EUR payments received by the Bank and for which correct validation occurs on 17 May before 3:00 pm will be credited to Raiffeisen accounts on 17 May and to accounts at other banks on 22 May. All EUR payments received by the Bank and for which correct validation occurs from 17 May after 4:00 pm until 22 May at 3:00 pm will be credited to Raiffeisen accounts on 22 May and to accounts at other banks on 23 May.

I consult my Raiffeisen account using another bank's online banking interface (account aggregation). During the upgrade, will the balance on my Raiffeisen account be updated on my other bank’s interface?

Your accounts will continue to be displayed in the e-banking application of other banks, but the correct balance and movements will only be visible from Wednesday 22 May 2024. Please note that your existing consents will be validly maintained.

How can I access my accounts during the upgrade?

From 17 May starting at 6:00 pm until Tuesday, 21 May included, you will not be able to access your accounts.

While the IT system is being updated, will I be able to check my balance at Banque Raiffeisen ATMs?

No, checking the account balance on Raiffeisen ATMs is not possible during the IT system upgrade, the error message "Service temporary unavailable " will be displayed.

Will the ATMs work during the upgrade? Will I be able to withdraw money with my Raiffeisen bank cards?

Yes, our ATMs will operate normally, and you will be able to withdraw money from our ATMs as well as from ATMs of other banks (subject to possible fees according to our current pricing) based on your available weekly limits.

Who can I contact in case of problems?

Starting from Tuesday, 21 May, 2024, in the morning, our advisors in branches, advisors from the Corporate Department, our Investor Hotline (+352 2450 3000) as well as our Helpdesk teams (+352 2450 2000 or 1000) are at your disposal to answer your questions or to guide you in case of problems.

Will branches be open on Tuesday, 21 May, 2024?

Yes, our branches (except the Echternach branch) will remain open on Tuesday, 21 May, but with reduced service due to the IT system upgrade. It will not be possible to conduct banking transactions in the branch, but the advisors will be at your full disposal to answer all your questions and provide you with the best possible advice.
